Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Martyna Majok, Sanctuary City follows two undocumented teenagers in Newark, New Jersey, who find refuge in each other as they navigate an uncertain future in America. The intimate play explores friendship, love, loyalty, and the difficult choices created by immigration status and the search for belonging.

Following the play, Steffani will participate in a post-performance Talkback about immigration issues. LISO will host a table in the lobby before and after the performance.
